如何使用快速电话咨询

快速电话咨询 任命s (15 minute) are available throughout the week 经转介 虚拟支持中心,你的 成功的教练，或咨询服务台 (左). Follow the steps below to get support M-F from 9am - 5pm (may close if we get to 我们的能力). 

Process for making an Express Phone Appointment:

  1. 你需要访问PCC连接.
  2. 登录虚拟支持中心(VSC)
  3. VSC 工作人员 will assist you with getting a 15 or 45 minute 任命 referral based 根据你的需要.

*Zoom/video 任命s - best when on a computer or laptop but can also be used 仅用于电话语音功能. The zoom link is listed on your 主题 in 您的预约确认邮件.  

**Phone 任命s - please add your phone number to the description box.  这 option has more missed 任命s because of phone issues (wrong number, etc.)

Prepare for 你r 快速电话咨询 Appointment

  1. If you have credits from another college, please email your unofficial record to counseling@9vt.net and note your PCC ID# and name in the 主题. 在预约前做这个吗 so your counselor has access to your 非官方的成绩单 (when printing from your college portal, change your printer to PDF to save as an electronic copy or scan your unofficial transcript as a PDF).
  2. Zoom/video 任命s (preferred to enhance your 任命 experience):
    • 你r 任命 zoom link may be found in your counseling 任命 confirmation email (in the 主题) sent to your PCC email shortly 后 scheduling your 任命. 
    • Copy the zoom link and paste into a web browser.  你会被送到一个虚拟的等候区 房间. 你r counselor will admit you in the virtual meeting 房间 at the time of your 任命.

  3. 电话预约:

    • Calls may appear as a private number, No Caller ID, or from a 626 number.  
    • Please pickup calls around the time of your 任命 in case it is your counselor 打电话给你. 
    • If the counselor does not reach you, the counselor will leave a voicemail if a message 选项可用.

  4. Please wait a few minutes, in case the counselor is running late from a previous 任命.
